  Rigoberto's is right down the street and has been there for years and years, but I've never gone until tonight. It has good reviews on Yelp, and I've seen people on my social media go there before. Walking in, it was pretty small and kind of cramped. The drive thru line was looped around the building and there were people eating inside, so that's always a good sign.
  
  We ordered a carne asada burrito and the enchilada platter. When I bit into the burrito, I was surprised with how juicy the meat was. Usually I don't expect much because I know carne asada can get tough. The burrito was bursting out the sides with rice, beans, meat, and pico. I added salsa and the grilled onions on top, and it was great. The chicken enchiladas were good too - the shredded chicken was not dry, and it was pretty tasty. The platter came with a huge side of rice and beans, topped with lettuce. All in all, solid place for Mexican food - will be back.

  So, first and foremost, props to the staff. I got in, ordered and sat down pretty quick. They were busting through a huge order in the drive thru (I think). A lady walks in right after me and I am pretty sure she had never spoken a lick of Spanish in her life. "Can I get the ca-say vertay? Whats this number 14? I know what a quesadilla is."
  
  The guy helping her seriously kept his cool and was really helpful. He grabbed everything for her, hot sauces, soda lid, everything cause she clearly had no interest in helping herself whatsoever.
  
  For the food, I'm only doing a 4 star cause I didnt try anything more authentic or that had the potential to be bad. I had a chorizo breakfast burrito cause i was crazy hungry, super tired, and needed a quick and fail proof win. And it delivered. Plus the aguacate sauce and habanero sauce were super good. I'll go again.

  05/16/19:  ONE OF THE BEST no frills but plenty of flavorful thrills of a Mexican eatery in Milwaukie but in all of Oregon.
  
  I first had this style of Mexican food when I was stationed in Southern California back in my military days.  I can honestly say this is far better than SoCal and even that of Northen Mexico.
  
  It's just exceptional and well worth it.  The big bonus is that Rigobertos is open 24/7, the prices are reasonable and plenty for what you pay for.
  
  Try it once and decide for yourself.  Definitely a must!

  I've been here twice - once for a breakfast burrito and the second for a late night meal. The first time was really good. The tortilla was heated on the grill and had the familiar San Diego kinda crispiness to it that I miss living in Oregon. The burrito itself wasn't greasy and the bacon was mostly meat (not a lot of fat) - so kudos. The second trip fell apart for me. I ordered a carne asada burrito and the meat was chewy, it fell apart while eating, and was pretty greasy. Perhaps it was the time of day or the cooks at the time - I don't know. But after the second trip, and an uneasy feeling in my stomach, I've decided that although I miss food that reminds me of home, I plan on holding off till I'm actually in town.
